Homekit Security System

I want to use homekit notification to know what’s happened in my apartment.

I have door/window sensor, homekit lock etc. but I don’t want to receive notification all the time when someone pass the main door or open lock…

Of course i can enable and disable notification when I’m leaving but what about rest of my roommates? Then need to let my know when they leave so i can enable notification 🙁 that’s stupid.

Automation in homekit don’t let you change notification settings so…

So I try to work around and i create a simple security system to allow me to use automation and be able to receive notification if motion or contact sensor trigger.

All is pretty simple ESP chip with motion or contact sensor connected and some code to handle my ideas:)

And that’s how this idea came:)
